Ryan Kerrigan announced his retirement this off-season, but The Commander is adding him to his coaching staff. The team announced on Monday that the all-time sacked leader of the franchise has now been signed as assistant defensive line coach.
“Ryan Kerrigan is one of the most accomplished players in the history of this franchise,” Rivera said. “Ryan was interested in coaching and we were able to allow him to shadow our coaching staff this summer. 34-year-old Kerrigan will work under Commander defensive line coach Jeff Zgonina.
